The Department of Social Work was started in 2014 with a mindset to train the prospective social workers in the social outreach skills. The programme was started four years back with a assumption of social work education that individuals, groups, community and society at large suffer from various Psychosocial problems. This programme helps the students to work for the well-being of weaker sections by empowering them. All faculty members have practical experience of working with National and International level NGOs. Already passed out two batches are completely placed and working with Red Cross and different NGOs.

Master of Social Work (MSW) – 02 Yr

Bachelor Degree in any discipline with atleast 45% marks

in aggregate (42.75% in case of SC/ST/Blind/Visually/

Differently Abled etc. candidates).

Rs. 10000/- per annum

Admission to the Course will be made through Centralized Examination as per university guidelines
