The Department of Physical Education CBLU Bhiwani is a unique beginning in the field of health caring of the students as well employee of the university, established in 2014. It is going to start a famous course for the sports persons who want to make careers in the field of teaching and professional stream from 2019-20. It is a 3 years BPES course with intake of 40 seats for all budding sports persons of the District Bhiwani who are keenly interested in sports and want to excel in sports The whole India knows that Bhiwani is termed as “Mini Cuba” in the field of sports as the players of the district have secured positions at the national and international levels. Considering these achievements the government established this University. The BPES course will specially nurture the sports persons of the different disciplines. The University is also going to start MPES course with intake of 30 seats instead of MPED from the session 2019-20. The university has also launched a scheme for University jurisdictional areas for talented beginners namely “ Vishwavidyalya Khelon ki Oar”. from the next academic session 2019-20. so as to find a suitable place in Olympic podium The department of Physical Education and Sports has already hosted an AIIU Wrestling( M) Greco Roman and Free Style championship during the session 2018-19. The competition concluded without any protests from either side. And in future the department also intends the organize the events entrusted, if any, by the Association of Indian Universities in a vary smooth and fair manner. The department has organized the inter college tournaments and selected the teams for NZ and AIIU within the affiliated colleges and UTD. From among these 12 players have got 1st/2nd/3rd positions in the session 2018-19, and 2 team games have won the silver and bronze medals at AIIU level . The University intends to lay still more emphasis on sports activities to nurture and enhance good performance by the different sports persons in NZ /AIIU levels the department of Physical Education and Sports has plethora of latest equipments for different games. The Department is also equipped with anthropometric and physiology lab to inculcate the knowledge of sports science among the students and sports persons with missionary zeal. The department has enthused teachers to teach and guide the students sports persons. The department is also running PG diploma course in yoga from session 2018-19 with intake of 40 seats having special emphasis on practical and also organize the different games of yoga for all students and members of the university.
