The Department was established in 2014 with the objective of producing trained manpower for undertaking research and teaching assignment in the subject of commerce. The Faculty of the department is highly qualified and professional the curriculum content of the programme not only set standard as per UGC norms but are also periodically rationalized according to the changing scenario of the industry. The programmes is designed to develop among students a strong, broad based academic foundation in theory as well as excellent transferable skills that enhance their professional prospects in the banking, finance and business analytics sector. The students have qualified UGC-NET examination and some others got selected in various reputed corporate organizations.
